Terms and Conditions

The Forever Edit Booking Terms & Conditions 

By using The Forever Edit's (“TFE”) service and hiring our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 
 
Your Booking 
a) All offers and bookings are subject to availability.
b) VAT is included in any price quoted unless stated “plus VAT”, such price will be amended to reflect any change to the VAT rate if necessary.
c) TFE has a minimum order value of £800. Excluding Travel and Deposit.
d) i. A non-refundable Cautionary Deposit of £250 or 25% of the hire value (whichever is higher) is payable upon booking. 
On receipt of the confirmation of booking it is the Hirer’s responsibility to check all details; please notify TFE immediately if anything is not correct.
iii. This deposit will be refunded after post event product inspections (further detail in the ‘Cautionary Deposit’ section later in the T&Cs) 
e)      There will be additional charges for product hire durations of more than 24 hours.     
 
Payment & Prices 
a)      The FULL balance is due 4 weeks prior to the date of the hire.
b)      Payment can be made by direct BACS transfer, bank details for payment will be provided on the invoice sent directly to the email address given in the enquiry form submitted.
c)      Non-payment by the due date will be treated as cancellation, however the Hirer will be reminded before the cancellation is actioned. There will be no refund of the Cautionary Deposit.
d)      Some prices on the website may be subject to price increases periodically, however all prices quoted in confirmed bookings will not be impacted.
 
Consultations 
a)      All consultation bookings are subject to availability and TFE advises the Hirer to have them around 4 months prior to the event.
b)      A consultation booking is reserved for a one hour slot. If the consultation is in person, TFE advises that the Hirer arrives no earlier than 5 minutes prior to the booked time as there may be other consultations on the day.
c) If the Hirer has already booked an event and paid the Cautionary Deposit the Hirer may book a consultation free of charge.
d)      If the Hirer  has not yet booked the main event the fee of £100 will need to be paid in full 4 weeks before the date of consultation booking.
e)      If the Hirer decides to book an event with TFE following a consultation the Consultation fee of £100 will be deducted from the final FULL balance due 4 weeks before the main event.
 
Travel 
a)      If the event is within a 15 mile radius of WS15 2AT, TFE will travel free of charge, setting up on the morning of the event and collecting the following morning for a standard event. TFE will need 2-4 hours to set up depending on the package chosen, therefore all bookings are subject to confirmation time of accessibility by the venue.
b)      If the event is outside of the 15 mile radius but is within a 75 mile radius, TFE will charge £0.45 per mile travelled in total. If the event is outside of the 75 mile radius from WS15 2AT then TFE will still charge £0.45 per mile travelled in total with the addition of paid accommodation within a 5 mile radius of the venue.
 
Cautionary Deposit 
a)      Any Theft or irreparable breakages/damages/stains of products will be deducted at cost price from the Hirer’s Cautionary Deposit refund. TFE trusts that the Hirer will take care of the products hired, however, if the value of items damaged exceeds the deposit value TFE holds the right to charge the additional funds required to replace all losses.
b)      The minimum Cautionary Deposit of £250 is required at booking as stated in section 1. (This amount may vary based on the total Hire price).
c)      The Cautionary Deposit will be refunded within 5 working days (allowing for Bank Holidays where necessary) to the Hirer by way of bank transfer to the details provided by the Hirer. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to provide and update TFE with accurate bank details for the refund of the Cautionary Deposit. TFE will not be liable for any losses because of incorrect information provided.
 
Cancellation by the Hirer 
a)      If the Hirer wishes to cancel the booking, the Hirer should contact us by telephone and/(or) email as soon as possible.
b)      The Cautionary Deposit of £250 (minimum) is NON-REFUNDABLE upon cancellation.
c)      The final payment balance (due within 4 weeks of the event) is NON-REFUNDALE if the Hirer cancels after payment.
d)      For peace of mind, we recommend the Hirer takes out appropriate insurance for the event.
 
 
 
Cancellation by TFE 
a)      TFE may cancel the hire contract in case of an extreme illness or emergency, in which case TFE will either work to arrange similar replacements or a full refund. Please have full faith that this is a very rare occurrence and has not happened to date.
b)      TFE may cancel the hire contract any time 4 months prior to the event. In these circumstances TFE will issue you with a full refund of the minimum £250 deposit and point the Hirer in the direction of a supplier who offers a similar alternative to TFE’s service. TFE would not be held responsible for any additional costs incurred by the Hirer.
 
Unplanned events or errors in booking information 
TFE cannot be liable for the following; 
a)      If TFE is provided with the incorrect event address and cannot reach the correct event in time.
b)      If there are unexpected travel delays or if there are unplanned breakdown or accidents and TFE cannot reach the event on time.
c)      If the venue does not provide TFE with the necessary access required for TFE to style the venue.
d)      If there is a date change of the event, TFE cannot guarantee availability to provide the service for the given date. The Hirer therefore will not be refunded any fees paid up until that point.
In the event of any of the above unlikely circumstances the Hirer agrees to pay the FULL charge. 
 
General 
a)      The Hirer is required to fill out the booking form in full providing the following information; Both Hirer’s names, contact mobile number, contact email address, bank details (for deposit refund), date of event, estimated number of guests, location of event, event contact details.
b)      TFE does not include ANY religious buildings as part of our approved venues. Additionally, the fee paid is for the styling of ONE location – multiple locations will require multiple bookings.
c)      TFE has photographed and described products and displays as accurately as possible, however no responsibility is accepted for any errors or minor differences when they reach the venue. TFE also does not take responsibility for the maintenance of any displays during the hire period from when TFE has left the venue. 
d)      TFE cannot accept responsibility for any harm, injury or offence caused by any of the products.
e)      This agreement, and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
f)      Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation.
